The Payments and Assessments Section (PAS) works in conjunction with the Housing Programs Management (HPM) Section and the HUD Contract Administration (HCA) Section. PAS is responsible for the financial payments to the Section 8 owners. This is accomplished through reviews of the following to ensure they are in accordance with the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) rules, regulations and guidelines:
Monthly Housing Assistance Payments (HAP)
Special Claims request for vacancy, damages and unpaid rent
