| Introduction |
Tier Two applications consist of projects that use or produce renewable energy resources that have a projected project cost equal to or greater than $500,000 but less than $6,000,000. projects that use or produce renewable energy resources include, but are not limited to, biomass, geothermal, hydro, solar photovoltaic, solar thermal and wind. ODOE reviews these applications in a competitive process that follows the requirements in ORS Chapter 469 and determines which projects will receive a BETC. ODOE’s goal is to allocate tax credits to those projects that give the greatest overall value for Oregon taxpayer money.
In May 2010, ODOE announced that approximately $10 million in tax credits would be available for Tier Two applications during the October - December 2010 funding period.
